Harry Sharata, M.D. PhD
Dr. Harry Sharata earned his Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Maryland (1982), a PhD in Pharmaceutics and Physical Chemistry (1986), and MD from the University of Wisconsin (1990). He is board certified in Dermatology and is Clinical Professor at the University of Wisconsin Madison and attending dermatologist at the William Middleton Veterans Hospital. In addition, Dr. Sharata conducts private practice devoted to general dermatology, skin cancer and cosmetic surgery. He is the Medical Director of Madison Skin & Research Inc., a cutting edge research clinic that conducts 10 to 15 clinical trials per year on new and promising dermatological therapies.
Mary Sharata, RPh, CCRC
Mary Sharata is a registered pharmacist in Wisconsin. She has extensive experience in community and hospital pharmacy. As Director of Operations for Madison Skin & Research Inc. her primary responsibilities are; study start-up, regulatory documents, and budgets. Mary is also ACRP certified as a Clinical Research Coordinator with 10 years experience.
Lori Moe, LPN, CCRC
Lori has 20 years experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator and has been ACRP certified for over 20 years. She joined Madison Skin & Research in November of 2001. Her dermatology clinical study experience is extensive and includes rosacea, acne, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, leg ulcers, tinea pedis, ichthyosis vulgaris, HSV, warts and basal cell carcinoma and onychomycosis. She also has experience with cardiology, musculoskeletal, urinary, and pediatric studies.
Blaine Jensen, PA-C
Blaine joined Advanced Dermatology, Inc. in January of 2012 after working with Dr. Sharata for many years at the William Middleton Veterans Hospital. He has extensive experience in identification and treatment of skin cancers, as well as in management of acne, rosacea, eczema, and other common dermatological issues. He performs many procedures such skin biopsies, photodynamic and light therapies, cryotherapy, as well as assisting in Mohs micrographic surgery. He also performs cosmetic procedures such as Botox, cosmetic fillers, and miraDry for excessive sweating. He also serves as a sub-investigator for Madison Skin and Research, Inc. Blaine received his BS and MS degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska and has been a certified Physician Assistant since 2003. He sees patients at all three Advanced Dermatology, Inc. locations.
