Harry Sharata, M.D. PhD
Medical Director
Dr. Harry Sharata earned his Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Maryland (1982), a PhD in Pharmaceutics and Physical Chemistry (1986), and MD from the University of Wisconsin (1990). He is board certified in Dermatology and is Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin Madison and attending dermatologist at the Madison VA Hospital. In addition, Dr. Sharata conducts private practice devoted to general dermatology, skin cancer and cosmetic surgery. He is the Medical Director of Madison Skin & Research Inc., a cutting edge research clinic that conducts 10 to 15 clinical trials per year on new and promising dermatological therapies.
Mary Sharata, RPh, CCRC
Mary Sharata is a registered pharmacist in Wisconsin. She has extensive experience in community and hospital pharmacy. As Director of Operations for Madison Skin & Research Inc. her primary responsibilities are; study start-up, regulatory documents, and budgets. Mary is also ACRP certified as a Clinical Research Coordinator with 10 years experience.
Lori Moe, LPN, CCRC
Lori has 20 years experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator and has been ACRP certified for over 20 years. She joined Madison Skin & Research in November of 2001. Her dermatology clinical study experience is extensive and includes rosacea, acne, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, leg ulcers, tinea pedis, ichthyosis vulgaris, HSV, warts and basal cell carcinoma and onychomycosis. She also has experience with cardiology, musculoskeletal, urinary, and pediatric studies.
Kate Sedlaczek, RN, BSN, MSN, ANP
Kate has been with Madison Skin & Research, Inc. since 2006. She is part of the research team with extensive experience in psoriasis and skin cancer therapies. She serves as an assistant in research studies. Kate got her Nursing BA degree from KPS nursing college in Sigmaringen,Germany and her MS degree at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. Kate works as an Advanced Practitioner in Dermatology, specializing in cosmetic and medical dermatology.
Blaine Jensen, PAC
Blaine serves as a subinvestigator for Madison Skin & Research, Inc. He has extensive experience as a Physicians Assistant in Dermatology.
